Born in 1981, Romain Hürzeler studied with such renowned teachers as Lydia Mordkovitch, Pierre Amoyal, Valery Klimov and Igor Ozim. He obtained his « Solisten diploma « at the Hochschule der Künste Bern in 2006 where he studied violin, chamber music, contempory and baroque music.
He works most notably with the Camerata Bern and the Berner Symphonie Orchester, being also invited as principal second in the Orcestra Filarmonica de Gran Canaria and as concertmaster of the Orchestra Classica in Bern.


In 2010 he founded with co-members, the CELANI TRIO who has been performing regularly both in Switzerland and abroad, notably at the Sighisoara Music Festival 2011 in Romania.
